We are thrilled to bring aerial arts to Wimborne in Dorset! Based at 7 Riverside Park Industrial Estate, our classes include Aerial Hoop, Pole Fitness, Aerial Hammock, Aerial Silks and Children's classes.

Our studio has a number of free parking spaces, and there is parking on nearby streets.

Lizzy
Pole Fitness, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Hammock & Children's classes Instructor
Lizzy graduated with a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies from Bath Spa University in 2012. Since then, she has worked with a variety of dance companies across the South, teaching students of all ages, from children to adults.
​
With over 15 years of experience in pole and aerial disciplines, Lizzy is passionate about everything pole and aerial. She holds teaching qualifications in Aerial Hoop, Aerial Hammock, and Pole Fitness. Alongside teaching, Lizzy has choreographed both dance and aerial performances, creating engaging, dynamic, and expressive performances.
​
Her experience has taken her across the country competing and performing. She has performed on stage at Move It in London, in Trafalgar Square, and in numerous dance and aerial shows across the UK. Lizzy is always looking to further her training and deepen her understanding of pole and aerial, regularly taking part in workshops and training camps. She has trained with leading industry professionals including Charlotte Robertson, Anete Blaua, Chloe Anderson, Beccie Dunn, and Sam King and Kate Linsell to name a few.

Grace
Children's Class Assistant & Social Media Content Creator
Grace is a freelance dance artist from the South-West, and graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a BA (Hons) Dance degree in 2022.

Grace is excited to work with children of all ages at Aerial Arts Dorset, to nurture and develop their creativity and to see them grow and learn as aerialists.

Chloe
Aerial Hoop Instructor
Chloe has over five years experience across aerial hoop, pole and silks. She is a qualified XPERT Fitness Aerial Hoop Instructor and holds up-to-date First Aid certification, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students.
Alongside her aerial career, Chloe works as a civil servant, bringing strong organisation, discipline, and people-focused skills into her teaching practice. She is dedicated to helping students build strength, confidence, and self-expression, while fostering an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all abilities.

Vicki
Aerial Hoop Instructor
Vicki has been performing professionally since she was 18 years old, appearing on stage at some of London’s biggest venues. She has always been passionate about dance and aerial arts. First starting with pole fitness in 2006, she later fell in love with aerial hoop, which she has been practising since 2012.
Vicki is an experienced aerialist and a qualified XPERT Fitness instructor, teaching aerial hoop to children and adults. She is dedicated to creating fun and inclusive classes with a focus on building students confidence, strength and creativity in a positive learning environment.

Jess
Advanced Pole Fitness Instructor
Jess brings a wealth of knowledge to Aerial Arts Dorset. She has been poling for 15+ years. Jess often attends workshops, classes and pole camps with Charlotte Robertson, Beccie Dunn, Sarah Scott and more!

Jess loves to bring the best out in her participants, and isn't afraid to give you a gentle push to achieve your goals.

Hetti
Aerial Hoop, Silks, Hammock and Aerial Yoga Instructor
Hetti is a dancer/aerialist specialising in hoop, silk, umbrella, harness, rope, dance trapeze and hammock. Her special act is aerial umbrella which is a unique apparatus that is captivating for audiences to admire.
She has a BA(Hons) degree in dance, aerial and physical theatre from Chichester Conservatoire.
She has been working professionally for 3yrs since graduating gaining lots of experience performing in theme parks, holiday parks and hotels nationally and internationally.
Hetti is very excited to meet everyone and bring new skill to the studio teaching silks!

Char
Children's class Instructor
Char graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in 2023, she holds a degree in BA (Hons) Dance, and now teaches a range of ages.
​
Char holds experience teaching and assisting early years dance, junior and senior youth dance, dance for older bodies, dance for Parkinson’s, and performing arts for youth with additional needs. She has been assisting in teaching aerial classes for over a year at Aerial Arts Dorset.
​
Char is looking forward to nurturing the confidence and skills of her dancers to provide them with an enjoyable experience in class!

Gemma
Aerial Hoop Instructor
With over 9 years of experience in aerial hoop, Gemma brings a passion for both artistry and technique to every class.
​
Holding a BA Hons in Dance and a PGCE in Secondary Dance Education, Gemma is dedicated to helping students develop strength, flexibility, and creative expression while ensuring safety and proper technique.
​
Through a blend of technical drills and artistic exploration, Gemma encourages students to build their confidence and unlock their full potential in the air.
​
She creates a supportive and dynamic environment where aerial hoop can be explored and enjoyed to its fullest.
